Actions Tutorial
Actions are used for routing and linking different views. Actions can pass some data to the target page and also they can Call a web service before navigating to the target page, result of Call operation could be used in the next page. There are also some quick actions that does not navigate user to new page but will help you to send SMS, open Map app, open web page, share something with any external messenger app and … . You can trigger actions from buttons and many other controls like grids, datalists, etc.

    Click ‘New Action’ button.

    Choose a name for your Action.

    Select a Target. Current view name with (this) suffix means refreshing current view with Call result.

    In ‘data’ tab you can pass data to the target, you can use Variables( @{} ) in value fields.
  3. 3.
    If there is any ‘Call’ available in your current page. You can select it in ‘CallId’ tab, you can select multiple Calls and they will execute one by one.

    In the target page you can use Action Data from Variable Generator below designer screen.
